As Christians, we often pray and sing to be “set on fire for God” but are we ready to become acceptable sacrifices so He can dwell in us?

Be transformed as we watch and wait with the disciples for the promised helper, and discover so much about God’s goodness, His power, His infinite wisdom, and impeccable timing along the way.

Re-reading the first two chapters of Acts has been such a powerful reminder of just how consistent God is. The key themes and events in our readings mirror several Biblical events and promises from centuries before and challenge us to prepare ourselves to host the Spirit of God within us.

We’ll be exploring some of these themes in this series of three reflections about Pentecost. I pray that they’ll encourage you to dive deeper into the Word as we learn more about our Heavenly Father.
